About Us :: Eva Applebaum, PTS
After graduating from McGill University with a Bachelors in Anatomy and Cell Biology, Eva took a year to gain some experience working in fitness, rehabilitation and explore different parts of the world. Soon after, Eva realized her major passion for the human body and returned to McGill to pursue her Masters in Physical Therapy October 2015.
Eva feels extremely fortunate to have grown up in the small town of Chelsea, Quebec where she was introduced to a healthy, active lifestyle from a very early age. Eva spent most of her summers sailing on the Gatineau river which led to her to racing lasers competitively, completing several regattas around Canada for 2 years. Today, she enjoys running, circuit training and downhill skiing in the winter.
Currently, Eva also works part time at NeuroGym, a rehabilitation centre for patients who suffer from chronic neurological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's and traumatic brain injury to help regain function and maintain/ improve mobility. She is also CanFit Pro certified in personal training and has experience working with people of all ages to help reach their fitness goals. She believes that movement is the ultimate medicine for the mind and body.
